This Hungarian heirloom with it’s mid-level heat and superb flavour is a fabulous culinary all-rounder! Can be enjoyed raw or cooked; fresh or dried. It is a beautiful plant to boot, with violet veined leaves and flowers. Chillies mature from a deep, dark, purple to a rich red.

SOIL PREFERENCES

PH 5 – 6

Rich, well-drained friable soil.

Avoid high nitrogen fertilisers.

GROWING TIPS

Sow 6mm deep – 45cm apart and keep moist.

Avoid high nitrogen fertilisers or leaf growth will be promoted over fruit.

Prefers warmer temperatures.
