Product Details

Large heads up to half a metre across but more commonly 30-40cm one single giant head per plant.

100 days to harvest. Store in a cool dry place. Prefers rich well-drained soil. Best planted in spring after risk of frost.

Sow seeds in group of 2 direct into ground & 30cm apart. The seeds will sprout in 10-14 days. Wait a week and snip off the weakest seedling & allow the other to grow. Water & feed well, leave the flower till the back is yellow/brown before removing. Allow to completely dry if you wish to keep seeds for resowing. You may need to protect from birds.

Sow when is based on cooler climates. If you are growing in a warm climate you may need to check your local sow when guides.
