Sugar Snap Pea

Planted 25–40 mm apart and 15–25 mm deep.

Easily grown across most of Australia as a cool-season crop. Thrive in autumn, winter and spring

They require full sun, well-drained soil, and support for climbing, with harvest usually occurring 60-90 days after sowing

Has wider adaptation and tolerance to higher temperatures than some other pea cultivars.

Sugar Snap peas may grow to 1.5m and require a trellis or similar support structure.

They should get 4–6 hours of sunlight each day. Plant pea seeds in soil with a pH of between 5.8 and 7.0 for best results.
