Lettuce Mix

(LACTUCA SATIVA, CICHORIUM ENDIVIA, ERUCA VESICARIA SSP. SATIVA,

SPINACIA OLERACEA)

A mix of lettuces, endive, spinach & rocket.

Sow the seed thickly, about 3-5cm apart so it grows to form a solid mat of greens.

Trim back with scissors the amount required while still young.

Multiple ‘picks’ as they regrow.

A delicious way to grow salad greens in a small area.

SOIL PREFERENCES

PH 6 – 7.5

Well-drained soil.

Good humus levels.

Add compost.

GROWING TIPS

Direct sow preferable- 5mm deep (light dependant germination).

Space 25cm apart.

Keep well-watered, drying out leads to early bolting.

Sow every 2 weeks for a continuous harvest.
