An early red cabbage that produces dense, deep purple, compact heads; 15-18cm in diameter.

Great for colourful coleslaws, salads, and cooking.

It won’t split when planted in the spring.

One of the best cabbages for winter storage.

SOIL PREFERENCES

PH 6.0-7.2

Rich, well-drained soil.

GROWING TIPS

Sow in trays 5mm. 2 seeds per cell.

Thin to 1 plant per cell.

Transplant 5–6-week-old seedlings in a fertile garden bed, 30cm apart,

allowing 60-70cm between rows.

Spray with dipel to reduce caterpillar damage.
