• Seeds are best sown in spring/summer when temperatures are consistently above 18°C.
• Germination: Seeds need light to germinate, so they should be sown on the surface and barely covered with soil.
• Maintenance: Pinch out the growing tips when the plant is 20cm tall to encourage a bushy habit.
• Harvesting: Regularly pick leaves to encourage further growth and prevent the plant from becoming woody.
