This is hands down one of Kate’s favourite brassicas! VERY popular in Germany and Austria and slowly introducing itself to Australian taste buds. In specialty stores.

An attractive purple tennis ball sized & tender root with a broccoli-stem/turnip/apple flavour.

Can be grated raw in salads or cut into

slivers for crudité or stir-fries & baked dishes.

Nutritious and a good source of vit C & potassium.

Easy to grow. Frost hardy.

GROWING TIPS

Keep moist to encourage growth and mulch well.

May benefit from dipel in early spring to reduce cabbage moth.
