This beautiful blue flowered perennial is attractive to beneficial insects. Intensely aromatic. It's used for herbal medicine for coughs, colds, as well as a mild sedative. Loves a sunny spot & doesn't mind it a little on the dry side.

60-80 days to flowering. Tolerant of most soils.

Best planted in June, July, August, September, & October.

Best transplanted in Spring. Grow by sowing, 5cm deep. Keep moist until they germinate in 14-21 days. Transplant in15-30cm apart. Prefers full sun. Prune back to encourage new growth & a compact bush can become leggy & sparse without pruning. Also used culinarily.

Sow when is based on cooler climates. If you are growing in a warm climate you may need to check your local sow when guides.
